Reliability Engineering QM Welding Advisor

Report to the RE Quality Management Manager. Interface with other TCO Quality Organizational Team Leads, TCO Project Groups and RE Mechanical Integrity Group. Prepare periodic reports for RE QM Manager. Provide technical support on welding processes including but not limited to: review and commenting of the developed welding requirements for project activities, review of welding related documents (welding procedures, including preliminary documents, ITPs, welding maps, QMS welding related procedures etc.). Provide technical support and coaching to RE Group as SME. Actively participate in revision of TCO procedures, specifications and standards under planned regulatory document revision effort as well as adopting the existing requirements and practices from other Chevron facilities.

Should have Higher Technical education in welding or material science and equivalent professional experience in Quality Management. Shall preferably hold RoK or International Welding Certificate. Minimum of 10 years of relevant Welding Process experience and minimum of 5 years of experience in a welding engineer position. Must have previous welding experience in Production Operations, Maintenance in the Oil & Gas Industry and experience of major Plant T/A’s. Should have profound knowledge of local and international standards including ASME, API, ASTM, NACE etc. Should have experience working with different materials and alloys including nickel, chrome-molybdenum and high-alloyed metals. Strong Quality background and leadership experience on large projects including quality audits and surveillance functions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience of project Budgeting and scheduling. Computer literacy in QMS and MMS systems. Dedicated to the deployment of strong safety culture and delivery of exemplary safety performance.
