Truck-Mounted Crane Operator (12 t)

The Truck-Mounted Crane Operator (12 t) is responsible for the safe operation of a 12-ton truck-mounted crane (crane-manipulator) for loading, unloading, lifting, and positioning materials and equipment. The position is responsible for conducting pre-trip and pre-operational inspections, ensuring the safe positioning and stabilization of the vehicle and crane, operating the crane in accordance with approved procedures and load charts, and transporting materials safely to and from work locations. The operator is also responsible for maintaining the vehicle and crane in good operating condition and complying with all applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements

Secondary specialized or technical education; relevant crane/manipulator operator certification is required Valid driving license for the applicable vehicle category Valid certification/license to operate truck-mounted cranes (crane-manipulators) up to 12 tons Minimum 3 years of experience operating truck-mounted cranes or similar lifting equipment Experience in construction, oil & gas, industrial, logistics, or similar projects Knowledge of safe lifting, loading, unloading, and cargo securing procedures Knowledge of crane load charts, lifting capacity, vehicle stability, and safe operating limits Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements Ability to perform daily vehicle and crane inspections and report defects or unsafe conditions Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in shifts and travel to different work locations when required
