Senior Process Engineer

1 Mentoring of assigned engineers in coordination with Engineering Manager. This includes delegation and follow-up on tasks assigned to the team. Conducting performance appraisals and mid-year reviews can be delegated to the Lead Process Engineer. 2 Lead and execute process engineering studies. 3 Responsible for managing and executing regular update of key process documents and simulation models e.g. PIDs, C&Es, firewater models, flare and blowdown models. 4 Ensure technical compliance and suitability of equipment by PID review and Vendor document review as applicable. 5 Prepare and check of concept packages for submittal to Detailed Design Engineering (DDE) staff for execution. 6 Coordinate with DDE staff to ensure efficient development of detailed design packages and resolution to any issues identified during the design work. 7 Coordinate involvement with other departments, external fabricators etc., as required. 8 Review detailed design engineering drawings and other technical documents to ensure compliance with applicable requirements and design objectives. 9 Obtain 3rd party design approval from authorities in matters related to design verification. 10 Liaise and coordinate with Operations to ensure visibility of all changes to operational assets as a result of brown field projects.

Higher professional technical education in process engineering. Work experience by profession no less than 10 years. Minimum 3 years in lead position. Experience in the international oil companies is necessary. Good leadership skills. Have a proven and detailed knowledge and understanding of: - Process engineering design in onshore applications; - Process simulation tools; - Process safety.
