• Works as a member of a multi-functional team to support / accomplish project controls activities and responsibilities
• Functions as a quantity surveyor and/or earned value practitioner
• Responsible for validating contractor invoices and calculate earned value
• Assists in development of WBS, CBS, and OBS
• Owners cost details review/forecasting
• Business plan process support
• Analyses contracts, processes and procedures of medium complexity and makes recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Assesses adequacy of internal controls in most part of audited contract, process or function.
• Interacts with employees of different work groups on issues related with accounting and financial processes and policies.
• Present audit findings to management of functional groups.
• Different types of reporting (Quarterly, Monthly, Biweekly, Weekly), such as Partners Quarterly reporting, QDC, PAC/SAC report, DLC, CSSR, Progress Report, etc.
• Support and initiation of digital initiatives
• Supporting other groups with cost data (Kazakh Local Content, SCM, Expenditure and Expiration Report, stat report, and others.)
• Assists in project/portfolio reporting activities, including use of project controls digital tools/systems
• Assists in interfacing with TCO Project team members to identify and report status of CE related risks
• Develops the WBS, CBS, OBS with other projects team members
• Works with Finance and SCM to ensure established accounting and SCM processes, systems, and procedures are followed and aligned with project/portfolio controls
• Implements and manages Project Controls processes, systems, and procedures
• Administers CE impacted MOC, including budget transfers, trends, and contingency drawdown
• Generates integrated project/portfolio progress, performance, & forecast reports
Higher degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) and any cost management tools.
Digital skills for data visualization and analysis (e.g., Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power Automate)
