• Building effective relationships (internal and external) with others such as Area Planning Engineers/Analysts, Cost, Contract Advisors, Construction Reps. • Work and maintain overall project construction plan as directed by Area Planner. Review it with site management and client construction reps.as needed or directed by area planner. Must maintain sight of critical path in the assigned area, communicate it to your team and provide analysis where schedule pressure is building and possible work-arounds as directed. • Responsible for reviewing Contractor (sub contractor) schedule for comprehensive coverage, logic, weaknesses, trends and predictability of potential schedule slip (risks). • Assess schedule trends and ensure Contractor correctly highlights such trends in periodic reports. • Review Contractor reports and ensure correct progress reporting and highlighting of significant issues/concerns. • Prepare and issue reports and data as required. • Ensure documents are organized in such a manner as others may easily reference historical data for lessons learned or IPA Project Evaluations.
2.1 Education College degree 2.2 Work experience • 1-5 years project Controls background • 1-5 years Oil & Gas or heavy construction projects 2.4 PC knowledge and skills Intermediate or preferably advanced user of Microsoft Office (focus on Excel) 2.5 Attributes • Write and speak in English in a clear and convincing manner, using appropriate language • Work well with all levels of contractor work force and integrated project management team • Self-starting behavior and ability to work independently
