On July 10-12, the Forum of the Association "International Center for Oil and Gas Machine Building Development” and Open Days for Kazakhstani manufacturers were held in Atyrau. The event was dedicated to oil and gas equipment and products procured by major operators, the development of local content, and the support of domestic manufacturers.

At the forum, opening remarks were delivered by the Vice Minister of Energy, Alibek Zhamauov, the Deputy Akim of Atyrau Region, Marat Murziev, and the General Directors of operators: Kevin Lyon (TCO), Giancarlo Ruiu (NCOC), Marco Marsili (KPO), as well as more than a hundred representatives from factories and service providers including Bolashak Group.

During the discussion, the quality requirements for products and the tender procedures of TCO, NCOC, and KPO were explained. Guidance on supporting supplier interests, initiatives in maintaining local content, and the results of operators’ work were presented. Participants were able to address relevant questions regarding further development of local content.
