The National Congress of Kazakhstan Employers was held in Astana in September. The forum was organized by Confederation "PARYZ" and brought together representatives of large enterprises and industry associations of the Republic of Kazakhstan on one platform to discuss key issues of social cooperation.

Gilbert Ungbo, General Director of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) spoke for the first time at the event. ILO is a specialised UN agency dealing with the regulation of labour relations and covering 187 countries, including Kazakhstan.
