The vital activity of any Company cannot be limited only to professional areas. There are currently a large number of environmental and socially significant projects in Kazakhstan, in which business, non-profit organizations, educational institutions and ordinary citizens take part. It is gratifying that every year the involvement of society in supporting socially vulnerable segments of the population increases (lonely elderly people and children left in the state care; and those who require constant medical care or expensive treatment). In addition to the necessary specialized services, they also need attention, friendly support and ordinary human participation in the struggle for life.

“Bolashak-Atyrau” constantly supports a number of social projects. This year we have started with the opening of a children's playroom for special children in the Center for the Provision of special Social Services No. 3 in Atyrau. It became symbolic that this event was held on the first Spring day, on March 1, when Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of Gratitude, when throughout Kazakhstan people from different professional backgrounds, different faiths and even citizenship try to pay as much attention as possible and do good deeds to those who need it most.

The charity event was attended by Quintin Goldie, "Bolashak-Atyrau" LLC General Director, Head of Employment and Social Programs Coordination Department, Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan and representatives of the Ethno cultural Center "Novruz" of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Our General Director presented a playroom after completing renovation for the youngest children of the center. In the playroom, we have completely insulated the floors, restored the heating system, installed a TV, a music center, children's furniture, carpets, curtains, special accessories for special children such as busy-boards, and also purchased various toys. We have also used the services of a professional artist who painted the walls of the playroom.

This is not the first project that “Bolashak-Atyrau” implements in this center. Last year, two workshops were equipped with equipment – a pottery and a sewing workshop, where the children demonstrated us their work. According to the Director of the center, in the future they are planning to arrange an auction where products made by children will be presented.

At the end of the event, Quintin Goldie thanked the entire teaching staff and the Head of the center for their hard work and patience. He also encouraged the guests of the meeting to unite, continue to help and support this center. After all, the most important thing is the well-being of children. They should be in the first place in the implementation of any projects.

During the daily routine and fuss, we sometimes do not notice how many people there are around us who need our attention and participation. Each of us can find and realize our potential in such projects, both large and small. The main thing is not to remain indifferent, and any endeavor inspires us for greater achievements. 

Sometimes it is enough to pay very little attention to make someone's world brighter and give hope for the future. Give kindness, and you will see how the world around you is changing, how it becomes brighter, and other people are inspired by your example.
