Senior Communication Specialist

Serves as a PGPA communications subject matter expert to field leaders and teams, supporting communication campaigns and initiatives in Tengiz. Coordinates the execution of workforce communication campaigns and initiatives. Supports the execution of communication plans and takes accountability for implementing tactics. Support crisis communications activities and serve on Emergency Management Team, as needed. Work collaboratively with other PGPA field representatives and communication specialists embedded with different departments or teams in Tengiz to support workforce engagement and communication activities. Provide communications support for executive and VIP visits to the field. Communicates across multiple media and aligns communication style to meet different communication purposes. Facilitates discussions, takes notes for team meetings and executes meeting agendas.

Citizenship: The person should be a Kazakhstani Citizen Education: Higher Experience: 4+ years Language skills: Kazakh, Russian, English – upper intermediate and higher level Software requirements: Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Fluency in digital media and social media platforms content creation Understanding Social media algorithms and targeting Web browser software and Search engine optimization principles Must have the following skills: Make operative plan of group’s work according to priorities Mark out important information and identify possible problem reasons Make sound decisions based on situation assessment and with account for consequences Work independently with no side assistance Explain to colleagues about necessity of having knowledge and professional skills Use feedback to improve own performance Facilitate implementation of team approach by own behavior and communication style Write and speak in a persuasive manner by using appropriate arguments, style and language Possess active listening skills
