C&P Start-Up Project Engineer

1. Review existing design, identify gaps, participate in technical discussions on issues related to electrical systems, provide technical guidance and resolutions, and work final solution with various Stakeholders for acceptance as needed. 2. Review modification packs’ drafts by design contractor and field contractors and support Project and Technical Management Of Change cycle (PMOC and TMOC) 3. Interface and technical support of various project parties – Construction, Commissioning, Design contractors, Tie-ins, Operations, design contractor engineering 4. Supporting drafting/Review of Site Acceptance Tests and System Completion procedures 5. Review, analyze, create schedules for various activities depending on provided construction/commissioning schedules 6. Integration and Start up strategy analyses – scope, schedule, various of options and technical requirements for electrical schematics (isolation, BS principle, Load calculations against available Power Generation, Load Bank scope) 7. Startup Procedure development and authorization 8. Support of Startup activities at site

1. Engineering degree – Electrical, Electronics 2. Chartered Engineer or equivalent 3. Minimum 20 years’ experience in on electrical power systems, automated electrical systems, or equivalent as applied to oil and gas industry 4. Strong skills to understand, read and review various Electrical Discipline design drawings (electrical single line diagrams, protection drawings, schematic drawings, layout drawings and schedules etc.) 5. Experience with electrical systems’ equipment (Logic and Protection relays (Schweitzer, Schneider, GE), Allen Bradley/Contrologix PLC, Det-Tronics FGS, Honeywell Automation System, etc.), and hands-on experience with integrated electrical control systems, including integration protocols/interfaces (modbus, contrologix, profibus, etc.) and troubleshooting thereof. 6. Understanding and interpretation of Electrical Power System Analysis (ETAP) software 7. Knowledge of basic principles/standards/best industry practices/norms and rules for SIS, ESD, F&G, HVAC, PAS and electrical systems 8. Knowledge and Experience with tie-in to brownfield facilities, especially planning and understanding outage impact of tie-in activities 9. Knowledge and Experience of package substations – design, construction & commissioning 10. Knowledge and Experience of 110kV GIS switchgear – design, construction & commissioning 11. Knowledge and Experience of high voltage metal clad switchgear – design, construction & commissioning 12. Knowledge and Experience of low voltage switchgear – design, construction & commissioning 13. Knowledge and Experience of UPS & battery chargers – design, construction & commissioning 14. Knowledge and Experience of electrical control, slow response and load shedding systems – design, construction & commissioning 15. Knowledge and Experience of oil filled and dry type transformers – design, construction & commissioning
