Reviews and approvals of Engineering work packages ready for issuing for construction on Low and High Voltage Electrical Power Distribution Systems. These reviews are over all aspects of the Engineering work packages including, documentation, design, construction, modification and constructability support in the execution of the work on complex power distribution and transmission systems. Responsible for checking and approving and assist with detailed electrical calculations. Participate in multi discipline design assurance reviews on DE work packages. Review and approve one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, wiring schematic, logic and principle diagrams. Participate in reviewing Manufacturer’s technical data and drawing packages. Confirm the set point calculations and selection of relay protection parameters for transformer/generators/motors etc. Confirming and approving the selection of fuses, breakers, and other protection devices, including setting for motor/generators and low power consumers protection. Review and approve the choice of equipment for new projects and for modification to existing equipment. Review and approve the specification for adjustable speed drives. Provide technical support for the installation of adjustable speed drive equipment. Review and comment on contractor’s submission at the Issued for Comment phase of an Engineering work package. Provide technical support and Electrical Engineering training as required for all DE Engineers and Supervisors. Assist in the selection of power generator packages. Review and approve “etap” electrical load and protection models prepared by DE Electrical Engineers.

• 15 years minimum of Electrical Engineering experience in a Continuous Petroleum Processing plant or equivalent power utility company; • Minimum Batcheler’s of Science in Electrical Engineering, Advanced degrees or 20 years’ experience is preferred; • Experience supporting an operating plant in a day to day support roll; • Demonstrated ETAP modeling ability with TCC coordination and short circuit Arc Flash Energy calculations;
