Plays an active role in the development of the safety, Hazard ID’s and IIF culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed Remains knowledgeable of safety policies and procedures as well as performs assigned duties in a safe manner and, while supervising others, has responsibility for their safety and ensures that they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits
Provide Field oversight and coordination of the field work activities with the Mechanical contractor and all E & I construction-related interface and support activities Monitors construction activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards and to achieve work efficiency Ensure the Contractor performs work in conformance with plans, schedules, and cost control estimates Monitors Scheduled work activities and manpower requirements are met to the established completion dates Familiarity with 4 week look ahead planning and Construction Work Pack processes (CWP, IWP) Coordinates craft personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules while adhering to budget constraints Reviews work assignments with craft supervisors and gives instruction relative to the methods and procedures that can be used Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, material requirements, along with Method Statements applicable to Construction projects Coordination with other disciplines to support E & I activities throughout multiple areas (Scaffolding, Coatings, Insulation, Piping and Mechanical) Computer skills in Microsoft Office or similar programs required
