Job Description:

• Contributes to safety program, health and environment protection, reliability and efficiency in order to achieve world-class performance of Company OE strategies.
• Actively participate in BBS program and contribute to IIF culture.
• Work together with SCM team, Project staff, functional departments and key stakeholders to better manage contractor operational performance in relation their relevant Scopes of Work (SOW)
• Direct, advise, guide and coordinate the contractor’s to achieve best practices and the required deliverables
• Ensure all deliverables are in compliance with contract terms & conditions, in addition to Project expectations and requirements
• Participate in planning and review sessions
• Participate in, and lead when required, safety meetings/toolbox talks with contractor’s & other personnel
• Review contractor plans and procedures to identify any anomalies and address with management
• Compile reports and returns as required
• Review contractor Work Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to ensure that work is conducted in accordance with agreed methods
• Ensure contractors are utilizing all applicable Safe Work Practices (SWP) and procedures take corrective action to address any faults and report as required to management.

• Prepare road maintenance plan and program and update as required, which will require developing and maintaining a road condition register.
• Assist with identifying short, medium and long term road maintenance requirements
• Develop and implement daily field traffic management tool to identify and communicate road closures, traffic restrictions, signs and condition changes, etc..
• Work with MVS and Project Traffic Planner to ensure that signs, guideposts, pavement marking, lighting and drainage infrastructure is adequate and maintained
• Prepare a schedule to regularly monitor road conditions and identify areas requiring repairs or upgrades
• Develop and implement plan to inspect and maintain road signs
• Update winter road plan annually
• Manage winter snow clearing and road maintenance program
• Make recommendations for roads requiring dust suppression treatment
• Develop field traffic management process inclusive of route planning, road usage, traffic SIMOPS and approval of Contractor route management plans
• Management of Contractor route management plans
• Assist with mentoring and coaching of the contractor teams as required to develop their level of competence and knowledge of Company and Project procedures and expectations
• Ensure contractors are maintaining current permits, licenses and passes
• Participate in contractor performance reviews and assist with developing campaigns and strategies to influence improvement in performance
• Other tasks as directed

Job Requirements:

Completed high school education
- Relevant Diploma or higher, preferably associated with civil works, including coursework relating to highways and roads
- College degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years work experience in a construction, transportation, traffic management and/or logistics related role in the Oil & Gas industry.
Fluent in Kazakh and/or Russian is preferable. Advanced level of English is also required

Construction/major capital project experience desirable.
Teamwork and communication skills
Proficient with most Microsoft Office based applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and shared document management systems.
