Job Description:

Lead efforts to engage project stakeholders to gather and analyze data to manage and maintain Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring high valued information is reported and applied to best monitor project quality performance.
Analyze and review evidence and report corrective actions / mitigation strategies provided by audit and other sources of information including root cause analysis and other techniques as directed
Report audit trends and highlight opportunities to improve audit performance
Lead efforts to proactively engage with technical discipline specialists and provide direction to auditors in the planning, preparation, performance and reporting of project audits
Lead coordination of audit program logistics for planned and coordinated visits to various project locations
Lead internal and external audits in various project locations as required
Review, check and issue audit reports and findings using QMS software package and other system tools as directed (Report audit findings by formally issuing an audit report for each audit conducted)
Report and administer audit reports and findings to management, discipline leads, contractors; and expedite finding closure as directed
Perform people development activities including training and mentoring of project personnel as required
Facilitate the implementation of existing and new company project processes and capability enhancements across the project operations
Lead mentoring initiatives to accelerate skills transfer to quality auditors

Job Requirements:

Candidate shall as a minimum hold a Higher National Certificate/Bachelor of Science in Engineering or an approved equivalent; with a minimum ten (10) years of experience in Quality Management in the Oil and Gas industry; and with over five (5) years of documented auditing experience with a minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience as a Lead Auditor.
The candidate shall be qualified as stated in ISO 19011, with a working knowledge of Quality system standards, and be able to exercise sound judgment in determining QMS implementation effectiveness against established quality and regulatory requirements.
Candidate shall have satisfactorily completed an internationally recognized lead quality auditor training course and pass the examination for certification (ideally IRCA registered or RAB, ASQ).
Candidate shall have a good understanding of a “Risk Based” approach to Quality
Candidate shall be competent at using Microsoft Office suite software including word, excel, PowerPoint
Candidate shall have strong communication skills both verbal and written; fluent in English.
