Job Description:

Report to REQAQC Supervisor. Interface with other company Quality Management Team members.
Provide Quality Auditing, Surveillance and Oversight and of all company contractor and sub-contractor Welding and NDE activities.
Interpretation and verification of project welding procedural requirements, review and approval of welding related documents including: WPSs/PQRs, Inspection and Test Plans, Weld Maps, welding quality management procedures etc…
Provides welding related technical guidance as requested.
Liaise with company Mechanical integrity group and ETC welding engineers to resolve welding procedural and technical issues. Provide site based technical solutions to welding problems.
Assure integrity of the company contractors and their sub-contractors welding operations through technical welding reviews. Assist as a subject matter expert during in quality audits.
Approve Welder qualification, monitor performance, analyze repair data and recommend action for improvement.
Must be experienced and respected as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in your respective field of influence.
Participate as SME in the development of Quality documents and Procedures.
Provide regular reviews of quality system, and develop, maintain, and facilitate implementation of Quality Management Plans.
Participate in training and staff development plans, mentor, provide guidance and participate in career development of Welding & Mechanical inspection team members.
Participate in Vendor and Contractor qualification process. Revue Contractors’ and Vendors’ Welding QM Procedures.
Plan, supervise and conduct weld related Quality audits, supplier and field reviews of work practices, inspections and documentation to ensure Contractors, Suppliers, and Subcontractors execution according to approved procedures, codes, specifications and regulations.
Play active role in effectively implementing Operational Excellence, Value Improving, and Preventive Action Team Programs. Proactively identify and assist in applying Best Practices and Lessons Learned and gaining implementation of actions necessary to improve performance.
Prepare periodic reports for Quality Supervisor.
Play active role in deployment of safety culture.
Ensure implementation and compliance of all CONTRACTOR and company safety programs (CHESM, BBS etc).Participate in company BBS program and other Safety initiatives.
Remain knowledgeable of safety policies and procedures and perform assigned duties in a safe manner and, while leading others.
Employ Quality Team Values to achieve continuous improvement and performance excellence including establishment of team member roles, responsibilities, standards and expectations.

Job Requirements:

Higher level education is mandatory, Degree in an Engineering or related technical field is preferable.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 5 years as a Welding Engineer.
Must hold EU Level III or KZ Level III certification in all NDT methods used at company
Extensive experience of RoK Rules and Standards relative to Welding Procedure, Welder Performance qualification and ASME IX Requirements
Familiar with International codes including ASME, API, ASTM, NACE, EN/ISO
Experience with the welding of C/Mn steels, LTCS, Stainless Steels and Nickel Alloys essential.
Must have previous experience of Welder qualification and testing.
Must have an intermediate level of English and be able to communicate on a Technical level (company Level 3) or (IELTS 4.5-5.0).
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Previous experience in a Quality related environment is preferred
