Project-Wellhead
Pressure Management Project is the next major expansion of the Tengiz oilfield located in Zhylyoi Region of Atyrau Oblast, Kazakhstan.
Project will help to increase Tengiz crude oil production, while WPMP will keep the existing Tengiz plants at full capacity by lowering the flowing pressure at the wellhead and then boosting the pressure to the inlet requirements of the six existing processing trains.
Project scope includes additional wells, gathering system expansion, pressure boost facility, oil stabilization and gas dehydration facilities, sour gas re-injection facilities, power generation, utilities, and infrastructure (camp, roads, etc.).
The Project has multiple execution centers worldwide including Aktau, Atyrau, Tengiz and Almaty in Kazakhstan; Houston, US;
Farnborough, UK; New Delhi, India; Romania; Bulgaria; Vietnam; Finland; Italy and South Korea.
The FGP Lead Pipelines Engineer is responsible for managing and leading the technical design engineering scope for all pipelines scope of work within the Project at the construction site during execution phase.
Day to day responsibilities include: Oversight of engineering completion by the engineering contractor; minimize design change and mitigate the impacts of change to the construction contractors; resolve technical issues related to engineering, procurement, materials, construction, quality, etc.
Where engineering re-work is required, interface with discipline engineers and designers to resolve issues in best for project approach.
Support Pipeline Project Engineers in execution of scope to achieve schedule milestones for the pipeline projects, including approximately 400 km of pipelines with associated anchor blocks, more than 1800 pipeline crossings, and significant scope related to heavy-walled high pressure high temperature gas injection lines in an existing operating field.
The Lead Pipelines Engineer shall leverage technical talents of others to resolve issues, seek out and apply innovative technical solutions to solve problems and achieve objectives.

Job Requirements:

Individual is expected to be an IIF role model while coordinating/prioritizing activities and managing interfaces with various
project functions and locations (operations, contracts, regulatory affairs, engineering, procurement, project controls, etc.). Individual shall have proven leadership skills to provide the overall vision and to anticipate risks, to deliver project and business performance goals in a challenging and multi-cultural work environment.
Effective communication skills, Strong Construction Management and Project Control Experience is required.
CSOC certification is preferred. Successful individual will have a minimum of 25 years pipelines experience in Engineering, Construction and Project Management with at least 10 years in owner/client role interfacing with design engineers across all engineering and construction phases of project.
Experience (15-20 years) and demonstrated knowledge of construction practices in upstream settings, large and small projects. Engineering degree required.
