Job Description:

Lead the operation of the QA/QC E&I functions at project site by implementing the Quality Control Plans and Procedures in accordance with the Company QC procedures, International standards and project requirements
Supervise the QC E&I Inspectors for monitoring the on-going daily construction activity on site
Regular site visits, conducting site surveys, walk down, surveillance and inspection,monitor all Quality related E&I activity on the project
Organized the Project team of QC Inspectors (E&I) materials, in-process and final inspection of electrical and instrument works to implement the Quality Control Inspection and necessary documentation covering receiving inspection of materials in-process and final inspection of electrical and instrument works
Monitor / inspect subcontractors’ and suppliers’ procedures, materials, documentation, testing activities, calibration activities for compliance
Witness QC inspection activities performed on various Construction Work Phases are Electrical and Instrumentation which includes PT,CT, disconnect switch, circuit breakers, cable tray, electrical & instrument cables, grounding system, power transformer, switchgear, LV/MV motors, battery charger & UPS System, lighting & small power system, calibration, installation and loop test of field instruments and fire alarm system, installation of junction boxes and local control panel
Testing and Installation witnessing in every electrical/instrumentation/communication activities
Inspection/documentations of installation of conduits raceway, laying of cables, installation of electrical devices and electrical panels.
Witnessed electrical loop checking & termination work for Panels/Switchgear
Coordinating QA/QC E&I activity for NFI, raising NCR and Surveillance if required
Supervise calibration, loop test of field devices,
Maintain records for submission and turn over

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 15 years work experience is preferred.
Knowledge of codes and standards relating to electrical and instrumentation work
Hazardous Area installation and inspection experience is an advantage
Previous exposure to high voltage electrical installation including switchgear and electric drives
