Job Requirements:

General Standard of Education
Trade qualification or 3 years experience as a Cook
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in a Kitchen Supervisory role within a large commercial operation in remote location
Efficient understanding of daily costing management processes
Efficient leadership, organisational and communication skills
Practical and applied knowledge of, but not limited to: basic cookery and methods of cooking; handling of catering tools and equipment; national and international dishes cooking; knowledge of technology and requirements for the safe food cooking; storage and service of food products to Client, Company and National Standards
Practical and applied knowledge of the technology required for the cleaning of various areas of the catering department to Client, Company and National Standards. Practical and applied knowledge of á la carte, buffet, function and other types of services as required by the client
