Job Description:

The Follow-on Engineering Project Engineer will be responsible for the
following:
Finalize detailed engineering for greenfield and brownfield gathering
system facilities
Manage the transfer of engineering scope from other offices to Atyrau as
detail engineering nears completion and follow-on (construction support)
ramps up
Business trips to other execution centers such as Almaty, Houston,
Farnborough (UK), and Tengiz to ensure effective coordination between
the multiple offices
Manage the design engineering contractor to close out engineering
punchlist items per plan and be proactive in issue resolution so there is no
delay to ongoing construction
Manage the interface between the design engineering office and the site
engineering & construction teams
Ensure queries coming from the Tengiz execution team are responded to
in a timely manner by the design engineering contractor
Manage design changes and ensure the correct process is followed and all
documentation is updated accordingly
Coordination of multi-discipline engineering resources to achieve timely
design solutions and problem solving
Present engineering progress, recommendations for issue resolution,
status updates to engineering and project management
Set clear objectives for the design engineering team such as achieving
productivity and budget targets and manage the team to achieve the
objectives
Establish and maintain effective communication between design
engineering and site execution to ensure the timely flow of design
documents and information
Manage interface with design and site engineering to schedule and
coordinate the release of construction design documents in support of the
construction schedule
Manage engineering contractor to provide marked-up drawings and
information required for the preparation and issuing of as-built drawings

Job Requirements:

Engineering Degree
Fluent written and spoken English
Minimum 7 years of oil and gas project engineering experience in project
execution (Design,
Procurement support, Construction support, Handover to Operations)
Oil & Gas Gathering System and Brownfield Field Facilities experience is
preferred
Minimum 3 years of Construction interface experience in a major project
environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills
Presentation development and presenting skills
Fluent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work as an interactive member of a multi-cultural team
Ability to understand and communicate Project documents, including
engineering drawings, specifications and contract documents
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English language
Highly motivated individual who is capable of working independently and
participating within a high performance team
