BOLASHAK EXECUTIVE AND OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT TEAM


Quintin Goldie, CEO






Quintin joined Bolashak in November 2010 initially as Operations Director, and was appointed Managing Director in 2011. Quintin Goldie has subsequently taken over the role of Group Managing Director with overall responsibility for all companies in the Bolashak Group. Quintin’s unique blend of experience in Kazakhstan and the Caspian region, combined with thirty years’ experience in providing a wide range of technical and industrial services to the Oil and Gas and construction industries means that he is ideally placed to drive the business forward. After many years of international project and construction management for the Oil and Gas industry, Quintin successfully managed an industrial services company in Baku, and subsequently introduced the company into the Kazakhstan market. The company underwent a period of fast profitable growth, which led to their acquisition by a major international provider of industrial services. Quintin has been at the forefront of developing Safety and Quality cultures within the CIS Oil and Gas service industry. This, combined with his strong technical and operational background and his knowledge and passion for the business, are great assets in his role as Bolashak’s Group Managing Director.




James Mullins, Operations Director 






James Mullins joined Bolashak in 2012, working initially in our London office, with responsibilities for Recruitment and Business Development. Prior to joining Bolashak, James worked in the field of engineering and sales. James has used his engineering and sales background to excellent effect since joining Bolashak. In 2013, James re-located from London to Kazakhstan, taking on the role of Project Manager and having responsibility for managing the services for one of our key clients in Atyrau. Since then, James’ role has expanded, as his career with Bolashak has developed. He has recently taken on overall responsibility for delivery of services to our largest client. The project employs a large number of contract personnel across a number of locations both in Kazakhstan and internationally. James’ role covers the day-to-day management of the project development and operations, ensuring quality of service delivery and overseeing the project team across all regional offices.




Edelweiss (Elle) Temirgalieva, Commercial Director






Having held a variety of roles with Bolashak, Elle has worked her way to her current position as Commercial Director. Fluent in English, Russian and Kazakh, Elle joined Bolashak when it was formed. She has a unique overview of Bolashak’s business, because of her involvement in the day-to-day business in a number of different areas. Elle started work with Bolashak, managing our payroll and subsequently contracts functions in Bolashak’s Aksai office. Elle relocated to our Atyrau office, where she took up the role of Commercial Manager for the company as a whole. Her role covered management of all contracts, HR and, for a period of time, recruitment activities. Elle has managed this role extremely effectively and has gained vast knowledge of the business and our clients. Elle has further developed her skills from several training courses in the UK. In 2011, her career path took her to its next natural step as Commercial Director.




Marat Turakbayev, Finance Director






Marat Turakbayev recently joined Bolashak as Finance Director and we believe his experience will contribute to developing the company's financial system. He has nine years’ experience in accounting & finance and he is fluent in English, Kazakh, Russian and Turkish. Marat's career included eight years with a major international oil and gas company where he progressed from starting as an inventory accountant to the role of Accounting & Reporting Manager for the Caspian region. Marat is experienced in financial management, ERP system implementation, audit and internal controls and management of outsourced functions. Marat’s responsibilities in Bolashak cover all aspects of financial operations and accounting, incuding maintaining all financial records of the Company in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as preparing all financial reports and data for Management and the Board. He plays a key role in maintaining the company's financial system and is responsible for overseeing all of our financial and accounting functions.




Alma Nsanbayeva, Human Resources Director






Alma joined a group of companies Bolashak more than four years ago, already having fifteen years of experience in personnel management in various industries and multinational companies, and during this short period has made a significant contribution to the company. As you know, people are the most important resource of any organization, and management of human resources is one of the most important and complex challenges that Alma successfully copes with. Under her leadership, a lot of work has been performed to develop, update and search for new approaches to human resources management. With her skills in planning and organization, she was able to successfully implement effective programs in the concept of training and development of employees, the results of which are subject to ongoing analysis and evaluation. Educated in various fields such as law, economics, management, MBA and having gained extensive experience, she is proficient in all aspects of labor relations management and decision-making on issues of interpersonal conflicts. In conjunction with such qualities as leadership, good organization and professionalism, Alma brings new momentum and positive changes in the company's further development.




Elvira Fazylova, Director, Bolashak International






Elvira joined Bolashak when it was formed. Elvira has worked in numerous roles in Bolashak, but specializing in recruitment and operational management. She started her career with Bolashak in our Aksai office, servicing the recruitment needs of the Karachaganak Project. Elvira then re-located to manage our Tengiz office, and played a key role in developing our business with TCO, where she was particularly effective in maintaining excellent relationships with the client and servicing their recruitment and operational needs. In 2006, Elvira re-located to our Atyrau office as Recruitment Manager, where she took over responsibility for all recruitment activities across the business. In 2007, Elvira decided to move to the UK to study for an MBA. While studying, Elvira continued to provide part-time recruitment support to Bolashak, and in 2009, she returned to work for Bolashak full-time, when the Bolashak International office opened in London. She was initially responsible for managing expat recruitment, and has since been appointed Director, with overall responsibility for the management of the London office and operations.




Svetlana Zhalkovskaya, Director - Almaty and Astana






Svetlana has also been a very important part of Bolashak’s team for many years. Fluent in English and Russian, she joined Bolashak in 2001, in our office in Astana. Svetlana’s initial role was to manage the work permit application process in Astana for Bolashak’s expatriates working throughout Kazakhstan. When the responsibility for the work permit process moved to the regional centres around Kazakhstan, Svetlana re-located to Almaty, where she established our branch office in 2003. Under Svetlana’s management, the Almaty office has grown to become a business centre in its own right with contracts with Almaty-based Oil and Gas companies, as well as clients from the mining and other industries. Svetlana manages all aspects of the business in Almaty, including recruitment, logistics, operations and business development. She also provides invaluable support with corporate affairs issues and oversees our small office and operations in Astana and the Eastern regions of Kazakhstan.
